Very nice work, being a children's book illustrator myself I love the cartoon style, having said that if I might make a couple of suggestions?
1) the outside lines are not dark enough, causing your eye to blend some of the characters together, I used a similar style before that didn't have dark lines and found that it was lacking a bit.
2) A little more tone to the shadowy and highlighted areas would be good also.
Otherwise a great piece thankyou for sharing it.
